Throughout this route we intend to apply the strict sense of the phrase “historical memory”. With this we want to show you the palpable story of a decisive historical event in our country: the Civil War.
In the famous Battle of the Ebro the brutality of the conflict left its most visible traces.
Our proposed route consists of visits to specific sites in the neighboring district of Terra Alta where you can visit bunkers, command posts, trenches, via crucis, memorial, etc … being able to complete the route visiting interpretation centers or museums that will be subject to schedules and an entry cost. It is also optional to hire a specialized official guide.
The duration of the route will be based on the desired points to visit, six according to our recommendation, although it can be extended to more if desired, requiring at least half a day.
In case you want to make it a daylong trip, you will need to have lunch in the area.
Remember that it is not obligatory to carry out the entire route, it can be combined with other places, experiences or thematic routes.
