Without doubt, one of the main interests of the Matarraña heritage is its villages. Either because of the isolation or because the progress took some time to reach the region, that “village essence” has remained intact, with a vintage flavour; stone buildings and winding streets, villages where people still seat on the streets “a la fresca” and you can witness and experience the authenticity of the rural way of life. Although we have two villages included in the “Most Beautiful Villages of Spain” Association, all the towns in the region have something to offer and deserve a visit.
Our route proposal consists of four villages and can be visited in half a day without a guided tour, but it will be the client who decides which ones to visit and the schedule. Guided tours will be subject to costs and availability of authorized guides.
Remember that it is not obligatory to carry out the entire route and it’s possible to combine with other experiences or themed routes.
